Genealogy is the discovery of a family's lineage. Our patriarch Grandpapa traced our roots over the millennia. A grape, like a family, inherits its traits from its ancestors. Vineology is a salute to Grandpapa and our Marquette grape, one of whom can trace their lineage back to the mighty Pinot Noir. We bring back our Vineology, now 5 years after we lost Grandpapa, to honour his legacy that we still feel everyday at the vineyard.
Mostly Marquette grapes are blended with oaked Cabernet Sauvignon from 2016 and hint of 2012 oaked Merlot to give this wine a robust and full body (just like Grandpapa!) It pairs with family, great laughs and inappropriate jokes.
